Symposium on the Status on Children's Health in Santa Clara County

Each year, Healthier Kids Foundation (HKF) holds a Symposium on the Status on Children's Health in Santa Clara County.  The event discusses topics on health coverage for children in Santa Clara County in comparison to children throughout the  country.  The purpose of the Symposium is to raise awareness of the importance of children's helath and provide a benchmark for our community.  HKF provides valuable knowledge that our community will be able to use as they develop frameworks to increase the health and well-being of children in Santa Clara County over the next couple of years.

Healthier Kids Foundation’s Annual Wine Tasting to Benefit the Healthy Kids Program

Each year, Healthier Kids Foundation hosts its Annual Wine Tasting Benefit for Healthy Kids. It is held at the breath-taking Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside. Overlooking beautiful vineyards, attendees dine on a special menu from Le Papillon and taste various varietals from over ten wineries from the Napa Valley to the Santa Cruz Mountains. There is a live and silent auction of fine wine, and other pieces.

Run or Walk for Health, Hope, and a Home

Every Thanksgiving, community members run, jog, or walk at Applied Materials Silicon Valley Turkey Trot. All proceeds of the event go directly to three charities – Healthier Kids Foundation, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Housing Trust of Santa Clara County.
